Taps as many of us know was written by a soldier in the Civil War and has become the closing music for every military funeral and most Memorial Day ceremonies.
The Champ J. Lawson, Jr. Post 2044 has presented this program for over a decade and we believe it is a fitting tribute to all our veterans at a time when our soldiers, sailors and airmen are too often forgotten. We look forward to seeing you at our patriotic celebration.
