Junior League of Charlottesville’s Mistletoe Market Features More Than 40 Retailers!
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA—Shop more than 40 local artisans, crafters and retailers, take pictures with Santa, all while supporting our local community during the Junior League of Charlottesville’s annual Mistletoe Market, Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the Boar’s Head.
Back for its 9th year, Mistletoe Market offers holiday shoppers a great selection of clothing, jewelry, gifts, gourmet foods, home furnishings, and supports the great work of the Junior League of Charlottesville (JLC).
Proceeds from the Mistletoe Market support the Junior League of Charlottesville, an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. The JLC supports local community organizations like The Boys and Girls Club of Central Virginia, Children, Youth and Family Services, as well as Meals on Wheels, The Virginia Discovery Museum, The Children’s Museum at the University of Virginia Health System and many more. Last year the Junior League of Charlottesville volunteered 3,314 hours in the community!
This year’s Mistletoe Market will feature pictures with Santa from 12pm-2pm! Families will receive a digital, downloadable image courtesy of Daane Studios.
Tickets are $5. Children 10 and under are free.
