Annual "Hope Chest" Give-a-Way
This annual clothing, toy, and household item give-a-way will take place at Venable Elementary School on Saturday, December 22nd from 9 am- noon. The event is open to the public but is specifically to benefit low income and refugee families this holiday season.
Donations of gently used clothing, toys and household items are being accepted at the HopeCommunity Center through December 18th, Mondays through Saturdays from 8am-7pm, and on Sundays 3:00-7:00pm. Hope is located at 341 11th St. NWin Charlottesville.
There is also a need for many volunteers to help with collections and organizing items in advance, and in running of the event on the 22nd. Businesses are also welcomed and encouraged to sponsor the event.
